VividNotes Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 November 2026
NavaOrbit Apps provides VividNotes. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app. Contact: navaorbit.support@gmail.com.
1. Notes and information stored on your device
VividNotes stores notes, checklist items, formatting, color/font preferences, creation and modification dates, archive/pin status and reminder settings in app-private storage on your device. The app does not automatically upload note content to NavaOrbit Apps, and it does not currently provide cloud sync or a separate VividNotes account.
Unlocked notes are not individually encrypted by VividNotes. Password-locked entries are encrypted in the app. Optional biometric unlock uses Android's biometric and key-storage services on supported devices; VividNotes does not receive or store your fingerprint or face templates. Keep your passwords safe: we cannot recover or reset a locked note's password.
2. Backups, sharing and your keyboard
You choose whether to export a backup or share an entry with another app. Exported backups can contain readable unlocked notes; locked entries remain password-encrypted. Store backups privately. Files sent to a cloud drive, email, messaging service or other app are handled under that provider's privacy practices.
Your installed keyboard handles language input, emoji and any keyboard-provided voice typing. VividNotes does not include its own voice-recording or translation service. Review your keyboard provider's privacy settings if you use those features.
3. Advertising and app promotions
The free app may display Google AdMob advertising. Google's Mobile Ads SDK can collect and share IP addresses, advertising/app/device or account-related identifiers, ad and app-product interactions, and diagnostic/performance information for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention and service operation. An IP address may be used to infer a general location. VividNotes does not request precise GPS location for note-taking.
Advertising consent and privacy choices are presented where required using Google's consent tools. Available choices may depend on your region and Google's requirements. You can use Advertising privacy choices in the app when that option is available, and manage Android advertising settings on your device.
Premium suppresses advertising and promotions for our other apps while access is active. This does not delete data already processed by Google. Bundled promotions for our own apps do not add a separate tracking or analytics service; opening another app's Google Play listing takes you to a Google service.

4. Purchases and Premium verification
When subscriptions are enabled, Google Play handles payment and the subscription under your Google Play account. VividNotes does not receive your card number or bank-login details from Google Play.
To verify an entitlement, the app sends the signed Play purchase information, purchase token, app/product identifiers and a request nonce to our verification service. The service checks the subscription with Google Play and returns signed access information and expiry times. Note content is not sent for purchase verification. The app stores a signed entitlement locally for limited offline access.
The verifier does not currently maintain a separate database of note content or purchase receipts. Hosting infrastructure may process network/request and security logs necessary to operate the service. Purchase identifiers and verification data are used to provide access, restore purchases and prevent fraud, not to read your notes.
Manage or cancel subscriptions in Google Play. Removing the app does not cancel a subscription. The clearly labelled trial preview in development builds is not a real payment or Google Play subscription.
5. Support communications
If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. Do not include passwords or sensitive note content unless necessary. We use support communications to respond, resolve issues and meet applicable obligations, and retain them only as needed for those purposes.
6. Permissions and service providers
The app may request notification permission for reminders and use Android's biometric services for optional protected-entry unlock. Android's file picker lets you select backup import/export locations. Internet/network access supports advertising and purchase verification. VividNotes does not require access to your contacts, camera or precise location for its core note features.
Information may be handled by Google and, when purchase verification is enabled, our hosting/service infrastructure. These providers can process information in countries other than your own under their applicable privacy terms and safeguards.
7. Retention, deletion and control
Local notes and preferences remain until you delete them, clear app data or uninstall, subject to Android/device behavior. Export a backup first if you want to keep your notes. Deleting local data does not delete copies you exported or shared elsewhere, cancel a subscription or erase information independently held by Google.
You control local editing, deletion, sharing and backups. You can contact support about developer-held support or verification information. We may need to verify a request and retain limited information where necessary for security, fraud prevention or applicable legal obligations. Contact Google or the relevant service provider for information they control independently. We do not receive your local note content and therefore cannot remotely retrieve or delete it from your device.
8. Children and age-appropriate use
The app's intended age audience will be stated in its Google Play listing. We do not knowingly solicit children's personal information through support or purchase-verification services. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information to NavaOrbit Apps can contact support. Advertising and consent settings must match the final audience declared for the app.
9. Security
We use app-private storage, optional password encryption and signed entitlement verification. Network purchase verification is designed to use HTTPS. No device, network or storage method is perfectly secure. Protect your device and exported backups, and do not share note passwords.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when features or data practices change. The updated policy will show a new date. Significant changes will be communicated as required. For privacy questions or requests, contact navaorbit.support@gmail.com.
